From the wiki: “‘L.A. International Airport’ was written by Leanne Scott and was first recorded by David Frizzell in 1970. Buck Owens’ duet partner and protegĂ© Susan Raye recorded her international hit cover in 1971. Raye’s arrangement, produced by Ken Nelson, enjoyed much greater success outside of America and was a major pop hit in many countries, including New Zealand and Australia.
